• Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of real estate loans while adhering to established lending guidelines and policies.
• Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
• Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customers' needs.
• Oversee the loan process from application to closing, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Develop referral networks and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas and improve customer satisfaction.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing loan portfolios and meeting sales targets.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting mortgage lending.
• Strong understanding of various loan financing options and bank products for personal and commercial uses.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in using mortgage loan software and common financial analysis applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred.
• Must possess a valid NMLS license.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy in transaction processing.
