Your Opportunity
No prior experience is necessary. We provide thorough training and can assist with sponsoring your real estate courses.
Embarking on a real estate career as a Showing Agent or Showing Partner offers a fantastic opportunity. This role serves as a gateway to a rewarding long-term career, allowing you to boost your income while maintaining a flexible schedule.
The Showing Partner, also known as the Showing Assistant, is essential in supporting the buyer's agent by arranging and leading professional home tours for clients. This role typically involves working closely with a highly active buyer's agent or team. During the initial consultation, the Showing Partner is introduced to buyers and briefed on their home search criteria and purchasing goals.
Responsibilities
The Showing Partner is responsible for being available when buyers request tours and for scheduling these tours promptly and professionally, ensuring that buyers can view homes of interest.
While the position offers flexibility, there is a need for urgency in competitive markets to ensure that buyers have timely access to desirable properties.
It is essential for the Showing Partner to maintain close communication with both the buyers and the buyer's agent, keeping everyone updated on the progress of the home search and tours. As the buyer views homes, the Showing Partner is responsible for refining the buyer's needs and discussing any necessary adjustments to the search strategy.
After each tour, the Showing Partner should assess how the home meets or doesn’t meet the buyer's criteria for making an offer. If an offer is being considered, they should immediately inform the buyer's agent of the buyer's interest and address any concerns.
To support the offer process, the Showing Partner should provide the buyer with the seller's property disclosure prior to the tour. They should also ask insightful questions to help clarify the buyer's preferences and goals throughout the tour.
The Showing Partner is compensated with an agreed-upon percentage when the buyer closes, and in some cases, may also be reimbursed for travel time or other expenses.
