We are currently looking for a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) to play a crucial role in assisting senior clients and their families through significant real estate transitions. Whether it's downsizing, moving to retirement communities, or selling cherished family homes, the ideal candidate will offer expert and empathetic guidance. This role requires someone who excels in client interactions, providing a compassionate and consultative approach that respects the unique financial and emotional needs of the senior market. We seek a specialist with a successful history in real estate, who is dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences and ensuring seamless transactions for seniors during pivotal life changes.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Client Consultation & Support:Provide compassionate and patient guidance to senior clients and their families as they navigate the process of selling, buying, or relocating. Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify housing requirements such as accessibility, proximity to healthcare, and senior-friendly community amenities.
- Real Estate Transaction Management for Seniors:Specialize in listing, marketing, and selling homes for seniors, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transaction. Assist with proper pricing, staging, and marketing strategies tailored to the senior demographic, while coordinating with estate planners, financial advisors, and legal representatives to address any legal or financial considerations.
- Senior-Friendly Relocation Services:Help seniors transition to retirement communities, assisted living facilities, or age-friendly homes. Provide full-service assistance from property search to move-in coordination, partnering with movers, downsizing specialists, and home organizers to facilitate seamless transitions.
- Market Education & Advocacy:Stay informed about senior housing options, aging-in-place solutions, and community resources for older adults. Educate clients about senior-specific financing options like reverse mortgages and home equity loans, helping them make informed real estate decisions that align with their long-term goals.
- Family Liaison & Communication:Serve as a liaison between senior clients and their families, ensuring transparent and consistent communication throughout the entire real estate process. Provide peace of mind to family members by helping them navigate complicated real estate decisions during elder transitions.
- Networking & Community Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with local senior service providers, retirement communities, estate planners, and elder law attorneys. Actively participate in senior-focused community events, workshops, and seminars to network and educate others on senior housing options.
Qualifications
- SRES® Designation: Senior Real Estate Specialist certification is required.
- Active Arizona Real Estate License: Proven experience in residential real estate transactions, with a focus on senior clients.
- Empathy & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, compassionate approach to clients and families.
- Senior Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of senior-specific real estate options, reverse mortgages, and community resources.
- Negotiation & Organizational Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, especially in managing emotionally sensitive transactions. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple clients and transactions.
- Community Involvement: Willingness to attend senior-focused events and engage in community networking to grow your expertise and client base.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel locally for in-home consultations, property showings, and meetings with clients and family members.
Compensation
$72,000 - $108,000 USD Yearly
This is a commission based position.
